Cricket Ground: The ground we use is owned by the village parish, and as such is controlled by the local Parish Council. The ground is maintained by a club stalwart Alan Sirett. Alan has been groundsman for 20 years. Alan and his wife Lynda are Mr and Mrs Great Horwood Cricket Club. Lynda and Alan have served on the cricket club committee for many years and continue to be valued members of the committee.

Changing Rooms: The extension of our clubhouse in the winter of 2005 has helped to provide newer and larger changing rooms with self-contained showers. The new changing rooms measure 2m x 5m (away changing room) and 2m x 6m (home changing room).

Licensed Bar: Within the clubhouse we have a licensed bar selling beverages to club members at very reasonable prices.

Small Kitchen: We have a small kitchen used as a basis for teas during cricket matches. We are fortunate to have players, friends and family who volunteer to prepare and serve teas at all home matches.

Nets: We have two outdoor nets available for practice. We hold indoor nets at a nearby venue for about 10 weeks before the season starts. Regular coaching of juniors takes place on the outfield and within the nets once per week. Playing members are encouraged to attend a net practice once per week.

Qualified Coaches: We have five qualified cricket coaches Neil Hogston, Gary Lee Nikki Ellison, Mathew and Emma McStraw, some of whom spend time at the village school and at the cricket club, coaching the next generation of village cricketers.
